Willie Taggart lost his first game as head coach of the Seminoles, who had five turnovers in defeat.

Nicky Delmonico also went deep for the South Siders, who have won eight-of-11. Jace Fry got the win.

Paul DeJong [[ deh-YOUNG ]] singled in two runs in the first inning and Yairo Munoz [[ JIE-roe ]] hit a solo homer in the sixth for St. Louis, which dropped its third in-a-row. Chasen Shreve suffered the loss.

(St. Louis, MO) — Adam Wainwright returns to the Cardinals’ rotation next week. The right-hander will start against the Pirates next Monday at home. Wainwright has been on the disabled list with an elbow issue for most of the season. He completed his rehab assignment this past weekend with a scoreless outing for Triple-A Memphis.
