(Taylorville, IL) — U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) today announced the first round of open office hours for the month of August. In addition to other meetings and events, Davis plans to hold open office hours in every county next month. He will meet with constituents individually or in small groups about issues important to them. Davis has held 19 open office hours this Congress and 37 traveling help desks with staff to ensure constituents have an opportunity to make their voices heard.
“Ensuring constituents have an opportunity to meet with me and voice their concerns about a particular issue or get help with a federal agency continues to be my priority,” said Davis. “Open office hours allow me to have personal, one-on-one conversations with people about the issues they care about. I’m looking forward to spending time in every county this August.”
Meetings will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. No appointments are necessary. Due to office space constraints, meetings will be limited to no more than five people at a time. Additional open office hours will be announced throughout the month of August.
