(Cincinnati, OH) — Eugenio Suarez homered for a third straight game as the Reds topped the Cardinals 7-3 in the rubber match of their three-game series at Great American Ball Park. Jack Flaherty gave up three runs in five innings to fall to 4-and-5. He did strikeout eight to only two walks. St. Louis was 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position and left 11 on base.

(St. Louis, MO) — The Cardinals and Cubs have their second series since the All-Star break beginning tomorrow at Busch Stadium. It’s the opener of a three-game set. Chicago took three-of-five from St. Louis last week. The Cards are fourth in the NL Central at 51-and-51, eight-and-a-half games behind the first-place Cubs.

(Anaheim, CA) — Mike Trout hit two homers and drove in four to carry the Angels to an 11-3 win over the White Sox in Anaheim. Albert Pujols 17th homer of the season gave him 631 for his career, putting him ahead of Ken Griffey Junior for sixth on the all-time list. Next up is Willie Mays with 660. Tyler Skaggs earned the win, while James Shields was tagged with the loss. Matt Davidson had a home run for Chicago.

(Oxnard, CA) — Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is not bending regarding the national anthem policy. Jones made it clear on Wednesday that all of his players must stand for the national anthem, and they’re not allowed to stay in the locker room. Jones addressed the recent comments by President Trump, and stated the President’s position on the anthem isn’t helping them find a solution. Jones also stated the Cowboys will continue their business partnership with Papa John’s Pizza.
