(Urbana, IL) — A University of Illinois grad is getting a little bit of money to stop making Chief Illiniwek shirts. The Champaign News-Gazette reported Tuesday that the U of I is paying Ted O’Malley 75 hundred-dollars to stop making the shirts. The school sued to stop O’Malley, claiming that his shirt included a copyrighted photo.
