(Quincy, IL) — Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner says he’s ready to deliver some of the money that’s needed to fix the problems at the Quincy veterans home. The governor on Wednesday promised a three million dollar grant from the Illinois EPA to help build a new well at the home. Illinois lawmakers have said the state needs to spend 230 million dollars to fix the problems in Quincy. That money would go to build a new dorm, a new water treatment plant, and a new campus at the Quincy home.
