(Lincoln, IL) — Someday, this winter will end. In the meantime, a storm system arriving late in the weekend will bring another round of rain, which will change over to snow Sunday night. While there’s still some uncertainty, odds of a couple inches of snow are good across the northern half of the state. Some of the snow will linger into Monday north of I-72. A significant warming trend is expected to begin around mid-week, so hopefully, this is the last of the snow.
