(Urbana, IL) — The University of Illinois says job prospects for its former students are looking better. The school released it’s yearly Illini Success survey late last week. The U of I says 89-percent of graduates from the 2016-2017 school year landed a first destination spot within six months. That includes the 62-percent of graduates who found jobs and the 27-percent who went to grad school. The U of I says the average salary for graduates from 2016-2017 was over 59-thousand-dollars in their first year.
