(Urbana, IL) — The University of Illinois doesn’t know how many students are missing class because of the latest strike on campus. Hundreds of graduate students walked out of their classrooms yesterday to protest what they say are low wages and expensive benefits from the school. A U of I spokeswoman said she doesn’t know how many classes were canceled or have been moved at the main campus in Urbana because of the strike. A few hundred people including graduate students and others rallied on the campus yesterday in support of the strike.
