(PyeongChang, South Korea) — American Shaun White threw down the highest score in the men’s snowboard halfpipe qualifying. White scored a 93.25 in his first qualifying run and followed it up with a 98.50 in his second. He is looking for redemption after failing to medal in the event at the 2014 Games in Sochi, Russia. Fellow Americans Ben Ferguson, Chase Josey, and Jake Pates also qualified for the 12-man final.

(PyeongChang, South Korea) — The U.S. is taking home some more hardware at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. American Chloe Kim won the gold medal in the women’s snowboard halfpipe final. She threw down a 98.25 to earn the top-spot on the podium. Kim’s teammate Arielle Gold took home the bronze with a score of 85.75. Fellow Americans Kelly Clark and Maddie Mastro finished fourth and 12th, respectively

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Jazz erased a 13-point fourth quarter deficit to pull out a 101-99 win against the Spurs in Salt Lake City. Utah has won 10 straight to get above .500 for the first time since early December. They’re one-and-a-half games behind the Nuggets and Pelicans for the final two playoff spots in the West. Donovan Mitchell was 9-of-28 from the field, but finished with a team-high 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

(Chicago, IL) — Zach LaVine’s steal and dunk with 12.4 seconds left put the Bulls ahead for good as they grabbed a 105-101 win over the Magic at the United Center. LaVine finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while Lauri Markkanen tallied 21 and eight boards. Chicago has won two-of-three to get to 20-and-26. They host the Raptors tomorrow night.

(Glendale, AZ) — The Blackhawks were handed their sixth-straight loss as they were crushed by the Coyotes 6-1 in Glendale. Anton Forsberg was pulled after giving up three goals on 13 shots. Chicago is in last in the Central Division with 56 points. They’re at Vegas tonight.

(Undated) — Michigan State is the new number-one team in the “USA Today” Top-25 Coaches’ Poll. The Spartans climbed four spots to first after receiving 17 of the 32 first-place votes. Villanova dropped from first to second after losing to St. John’s last week. The Wildcats received eight first-place votes. Virginia is third, followed by Xavier and Cincinnati. Texas Tech, Purdue, Gonzaga, Ohio State and Duke round out the top-10.

(Tempe, AZ) — The Arizona Cardinals are locking up general manager Steve Keim with a four-year contract extension. The deal keeps Keim in Arizona through the 2022 season. His extension also lines up with new head coach Steve Wilks, who was hired in January. The 45-year-old Keim, who was heading into the final year of his current contract, will be entering his 20th season with the organization and sixth as GM.
