(Springfield, IL) — Most of Illinois’ interstates are clear of snow and ice, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be slick on the drive to school or work. I-DOT said crews spent most of the day yesterday clearing the state’s interstates, though local roads and county highways may not be in as good of shape. Their advice is to slow down and give yourself plenty of time to get where you are going this morning.
