(Los Angeles, CA) — The World Series is headed to a deciding Game Seven. The Dodgers defeated the Astros 3-1 in Game Six at Chavez Ravine to knot the best-of-seven Fall Classic at three games apiece. The final game of the MLB season is tonight in Los Angeles. Yu Darvish will start for the Dodgers opposite Houston’s Lance McCullers Jr.

(Undated) — Georgia is number-one in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season. The Bulldogs are followed by Alabama, Notre Dame and Clemson. Just outside of the top-four are Oklahoma at number-five and Ohio State at number-six. Rankings will come out each Tuesday until the national semifinals are revealed on December 3rd.
>>Eagles Acquire RB Ajayi From Dolphins
(Philadelphia, PA) — The Eagles are bolstering their ground game. Philadelphia has acquired running back Jay Ajayi from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2018 fourth-round draft pick. Ajayi has rushed for 465 yards but has yet to score in seven games this season. The 24-year-old ranked fourth in the NFL last year with 1,272 rushing yards.
>>Bills Acquire WR Benjamin From Panthers
(Orchard Park, NY) — The Buffalo Bills are beefing up their passing attack. The Bills have acquired wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin from the Carolina Panthers before yesterday’s trade deadline. Buffalo gave up a third and seventh-round draft pick in 2018. Benjamin has 32 catches for 475 yards and two touchdowns in eight games this season, his fourth in the NFL.

(Chicago, IL) — The Bears are on their bye week. They did have practice yesterday. Chicago didn’t make any deals as the trade deadline expired. The Bears are 3-and-5 and host the Packers a week from Sunday.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Colts are preparing for their Week Nine showdown with the Texans on Sunday in Houston. Indy has dropped three-straight games to slip to 2-and-6. The Texans are 3-and-4. This will be the first of two meetings between the division rivals this season.

(Chicago, IL) — The Bulls begin a two-game trip to Florida tonight. Chicago opens the stretch against the Heat and then plays the Magic on Friday. The Bulls are 1-and-4 after getting crushed by the Thunder, 101-69, on Saturday. Miami is 2-and-4.
>>Blues Host Flyers Tomorrow
(St. Louis, MO) — The Blues are off again tonight. They return to the ice tomorrow as they host the Flyers at Scottrade Center. St. Louis stretched its winning streak to four games with a 4-2 win over the Kings on Monday. The Blues have won six of their last seven and lead the Central Division with 21 points at 10-2-and-1. Philly is 6-5-and-1 with 13 points.

(Chicago, IL) — The Blackhawks and Flyers hit the ice tonight at the United Center. Chicago has lost three in-a-row and five-of-six to fall to 5-5-and-2 on the season. The Avs doubled up the Hawks, 6-3, on Saturday. Philly is 6-5-and-1.
