(Springfield, IL) — Illinois has a budget, but that doesn’t mean that Illinois has the money to spend. Governor Bruce Rauner last week laid out 200 million-dollars in budget cuts that he says have to be made because Illinois doesn’t have the money to cover the costs. In fact, the governor says more cuts are coming. Rauner says Illinois’ budget is over one-and-a-half billion-dollars out of whack. But the governor’s office isn’t saying when he will propose those cuts.
