Devonta Freeman ran for 84 yards and two touchdowns as Atlanta captured a 34-23 victory. Aaron Rodgers became the fastest quarterback to reach 300 career touchdown passes in NFL history in the loss.

(Tampa, FL) — The Buccaneers beat the Bears 29-7 at Raymond James Stadium. Mike Glennon finished 31-of-45 for 301 yards and a TD, but also had two picks and a fumble as Chicago fell to 0-and-2.. Deonte Thompson’s 14-yard TD catch with 1:43 to play prevented the shutout. The Bears host the Steelers on Sunday.

(Indianapolis, IN) — After missing a 42-yard field goal at the end of regulation, Phil Dawson drilled a 30-yard attempt in overtime to lift the Cardinals past the Colts 16-13 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Jacoby Brissett was 20-of-37 for 216 yards and the costly pick for the Colts, who fell to 0-and-2. Frank Gore ran for 46 yards and a score in defeat.

(Chicago, IL) — Jason Heyward singled in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning as the Cubs beat the Cardinals 4-3 at Wrigley Field. Kyle Schwarber belted his 27th home run as the Cubs completed a three-game sweep. Chicago won its sixth in-a-row overall. Pedro Strop got the win and Wade Davis logged his 31st save in as many chances.

(Detroit, MI) — Matthew Boyd fell one out short of a no-hitter in the Tigers’ 12-0 rout of the White Sox at Comerica Park. Tim Anderson broke up the bid with a two-out double in the top of the ninth inning. Dylan Covey fell to 0-and-6 for Chicago, which split the four-game series.

(Houston, TX) — The Astros are AL West champions. Houston wrapped up the division title with a 7-1 rout of the Mariners. The Astros captured their first division crown since winning the NL Central in 2001. Houston is one-and-a-half games behind the Indians for the best record in the AL.
