(Chicago, IL) — Illinois’ immigrant community says they’re not going away after just one day of protests. Thousands of people took to the streets yesterday to protest President Donald Trump’s decision to end the DACA program that let hundreds of thousands of people who were illegally brought to the U.S. as children, stay in the country. Chicago saw the largest protest, but people took the streets in Normal and Carbondale, and other communities as well.
