(Decatur, IL) — School starts next week and that means kids are going to need to get their vaccinations if they haven’t already and the Macon County Health Department plans to extend clinic hours tomorrow and Monday.
In addition to the regular clinic hours, the Macon County Health Department will be open for walk-in vaccinations tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and they will also be open for walk-in vaccinations on Monday, August 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. These additional vaccination hours will help to meet the needs of working parents/guardians and to align with the requirement that all school-aged children must be up-to-date on immunizations.
