(Cambridge, IL) — A judge says he’ll decide later this month if a Kewanee teen will be charged as an adult in the slashing of a puppy’s throat. Judge Terry Patton yesterday set an August 23rd hearing to decide if the teen will be moved from Henry County’s juvenile court to adult court. Police say he slashed a puppy’s throat with a box cutter last month. Dozens of people rallied outside the courtroom yesterday to demand justice for Thor, the lab-mix puppy who had his throat slashed. They say they’ll be back on the 23rd as well.
