(Chicago, IL) — Illinois’ largest school district is vowing to open school on time. Chicago Public Schools CEO Forrest Claypool yesterday promised parents that the city’s schools will open regardless of what happens with the school funding reform plan at the State Capitol. Claypool said CPS “will do what is necessary” to keep schools open.
