Luke Voit had a pinch-hit, RBI double and Magneuris Sierra went 3-for-4 with a two-run single for St. Louis in defeat.

The Bears traded up one spot to land the North Carolina quarterback in April’s NFL Draft. Trubisky set single-season school records with 304 completions, 3,748 yards and 30 touchdowns last year.

(Charlotte, NC) — The Panthers are naming Marty Hurney interim general manager. Hurney returns to the same post he held from 2002-to-2012.
