(St. Louis, MO) — Lance Lynn and two relievers combined on a three-hitter as the Cardinals shut out the Mets 6-0 at Busch Stadium. Tommy Pham, went 3-for-3 with a two-run homer and Paul DeJong and Luke Voit also went deep as St. Louis took two-of-three.

(Chicago, IL) — Jon Lester allowed 10 runs in the first inning as the Cubs were pummeled by the Pirates 14-3 at Wrigley Field. Lester got just two outs, but only four of the 10 runs were earned thanks to two errors. Victor Caratini went 3-for-3 with an RBI for Chicago, which lost two-of-three.

(Miami, FL) — Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton defends his title in the Home Run Derby tonight in Miami. The top-seeded Stanton faces Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez in the opening round. Yankee phenom Aaron Judge will meet Miami’s Justin Bour in round one.

(White Sulphur Springs, WV) — Xander Schauffele is the champion at the Greenbrier Classic. Schauffele birdied the final hole to cap off a round of 67 and take home the title at 14-under par for the tournament. It’s his first PGA Tour victory. Robert Streb finished in second, one stroke back at minus-13.

(Sparta, KY) — Martin Truex Jr. took the checkered flag at the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway. Truex held off the field on a final overtime restart to take home the checkered flag. It is his 10th career Cup Series victory and third of the season. Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch rounded out the top five.
