(Chicago, IL) — The former University of Illinois football player who says he was forced to play while injured, now says he’s getting 250-thousand dollars from the school for his pain and suffering. Simon Cvijanovic announced the settlement on Twitter yesterday, and he says he’ll answers questions at a news conference later this week. Cvijanovic claimed former U of I coach Tim Beckman forced him to play with serious knee and shoulder injuries. University officials aren’t commenting on the settlement.
