(Pekin, IL) — Parents at another central Illinois school district are getting a break on lunch costs. Pekin Schools yesterday announced they will receive free school breakfasts and lunches starting next year. Pekin is the latest central Illinois school to join the Community Eligibility Program, which provides free meals to all students in any district where 60-percent of kids qualify for free or reduced lunches.
