Decatur Police have arrested one man from an incident that took place inside of an IHOP on East Pershing Road Sunday morning. Detectives say officers were called to the restaurant from a report of shots being fired. Upon arrival, police learned some customers had allegedly left a mess and become unruly which led to an argument between the customers and staff. Decatur Police say the manager, who identified as 26-year-old Jason White, had displayed a handgun and fired it inside of the restaurant. No injuries were reported and a handgun was recovered at the scene. Officers say White was arrested and booked into the Macon County Jail. White faces preliminary charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. This incident is still under investigation.
