(Springfield, IL) — Governor Rauner is accusing Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel of working with other Democrats to create havoc in Illinois. The governor told the “Chicago Tribune” that the mayor is causing a “crisis” at Chicago Public Schools by demanding the state pick up a 215-million dollar teacher pension payment. Rauner said Emanuel’s actions are part of a scheme by Attorney General Lisa Madigan and Comptroller Susana Mendoza to force a tax hike.
