(Atlanta, GA) — Officials say a man who escaped from an Illinois prison over a decade ago was arrested last week in Atlanta. Jorge Soberanis-Rumaldo was taken into custody Friday at his home in Georgia. He was convicted of a felony cocaine charge and sent to Stateville Correctional Center in Crest Hill in 2003. Soberanis-Rumaldo escaped from the facility that summer while on work detail.
