(San Diego, CA) — The Chargers are officially moving to Los Angeles. The team announced yesterday it is bolting San Diego for Los Angeles. The Chargers will play the next two seasons at the Stubhub Center in Carson, California before joining the Rams in a new stadium being built in Inglewood.

(San Diego, CA) — The Chargers will have a new head coach when they move up the coast. Multiple reports say the team is set to hire former Bills offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn. The 48-year-old Lynn also served as Buffalo’s interim head coach in Week 17.

(Los Angeles, CA) — The Chargers aren’t the only team in town with a new head coach. The LA Rams hired former Washington offensive coordinator Sean McVay yesterday. The 30-year-old is the youngest head coach in modern NFL history.
>>Colts Holding Cheerleader Tryouts
(Indianapolis, IN) — The Colts will hold cheerleader tryouts at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center on March 19th. There is a 25-dollar fee to enter. A cheerleader audition workshop will be held starting February 12th at the same location. That fee is 75-dollars and will provide a sneak peek at the Colts Cheerleaders program. (Los Angeles, CA) — The Blues fell behind 4-0 early in the second period and never recovered in a 5-1 loss to the Kings in Los Angeles. Paul Stastny had the lone goal for St. Louis in the second to make it 4-1. The Blues have lost three-of-four. They continue their road trip tomorrow at San Jose.

(St. Louis, MO) — The Cardinals are avoiding arbitration with first baseman Matt Adams. The two sides have agreed to a one-year deal worth 2.8-million-dollars. Adams hit .249 with 16 home runs and 54 RBI last season. He’s expected to be a reserve this year, with Matt Carpenter shifting to first base.

(New York, NY) — The shorthanded Bulls suffered a 104-89 loss to the Knicks last night in New York. Chicago was without Jimmy Butler and Nikola Mirotic. Dwyane Wade poured in 22 points for the Bulls, who have lost their last three. The Bulls host the Pelicans tomorrow night.

(Honolulu, HI) — Justin Thomas is the newest member of the “59 club”. Thomas drained a 15-foot eagle putt on the 18th hole to card a 59 in the opening round of the Sony Open in Hawaii. The 23-year-old is the youngest player to card a 59 in PGA history.

(Champaign, IL) — Illinois is at home tomorrow hosting Maryland at the State Farm Center. The Fighting Illinois beat Michigan 85-69 on Wednesday. Illinois has traded wins and losses it its last five games. The Illini are 12-and-5 overall and 2-and-2 in the Big Ten. The Terps are 15-and-2 and 3-and-1.
