Dallas came up short for the first time since falling to the same Giants in Week One. The 9-and-4 Giants have sole possession of the top Wild Card spot in the NFC.

(Detroit, MI) — Matthew Stafford’s rushing score with 3:17 left gave the Lions a 20-17 win over the Bears in Detroit. Matt Barkley threw for 212 yards and a touchdown for Chicago, which is 0-and-7 on the road and 3-and-10 overall. The Bears host the rival Packers on Sunday.

(Indianapolis, IN) — Nick Novak was 5-for-5 on field goals to help the Texans top the Colts, 22-17, in Indianapolis. The Texans’ defense forced Andrew Luck into three turnovers in their ninth straight division win. Luck threw for 276 yards and two scores for the Colts, who fell to 6-and-7. T.Y. Hilton caught nine passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

(Cleveland, OH) — The Browns are still in search of their first win after losing to the Bengals 23-10 in Cleveland. The Browns dropped to 0-and-13 on the season. Cleveland closes the year at Buffalo, home against the Chargers and at the Steelers.
>>Blackhawks Dump Stars
(Chicago, IL) — Scott Darling denied 23 shots as the Blackhawks beat the Stars 3-1 in Chicago. Marian Hossa and Artem Anisimov lit the lamp in the second, while Artemi Panarin added a power-play score in the third. Chicago improved to 18-8-and-4 with the win. The ‘Hawks visit the Rangers tomorrow night.

(St. Paul, MN) — The Blues could only get one shot past Devan Dubnyk in a 2-1 loss to the Wild in Minnesota. Jake Allen gave up two goals on 24 shots in defeat. Vladimir Tarasenko scored in the second to get St. Louis within 2-1. The Blues will play in Nashville tomorrow.
>>Westbrook’s Streak Ends In Thunder Win
(Oklahoma, OK) — The Thunder captured a 99-96 win over the Celtics despite the end of Russell Westbrook’s seven-game triple-double streak. Westbrook finished with 37 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. His run was the longest since Michael Jordan’s seven-game stretch in 1989.
>>Hayes Found Guilty In Smith Case
(New Orleans, LA) — A jury is finding Cardell Hayes guilty of manslaughter in the shooting death of former Saints defensive end Will Smith. Hayes was also found guilty of attempted manslaughter on Smith’s wife, Racquel. Will Smith was shot and killed after a car accident in New Orleans on April 9th. Hayes will be sentenced at a later date.
