(Santa Clara, CA) — David Johnson rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns as the Cardinals clobbered the 49ers, 33-21, on “Thursday Night Football”. Drew Stanton threw a pair of TD passes in place of Carson Palmer, who was sidelined with a concussion. Arizona is 2-and-3.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The 1-and-3 Colts face off with the 1-and-3 Bears on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Colts seek a bounce-back win after falling to the Jaguars in London last week. They’ll visit division foes Houston and Tennessee in the coming weeks. Sunday’s kick-off is at 12 p.m.

(Charlotte, NC) — Kevin Harvick will be on the pole for tomorrow’s Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Harvick nipped Alex Bowman for the top spot yesterday. Tomorrow’s race is the first in the second round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup playoffs. It gets underway at 7:00 p.m.

(Gainesville, FL) — Tomorrow’s football game between Florida and LSU is being postponed due to Hurricane Matthew. The SEC says it will try and reschedule the contest that was going to be played in Gainesville, Florida. Rescheduling is an issue since the two schools do not share a common open date.

(Champaign, IL) — Illinois is on its home field tomorrow afternoon hosting Purdue. Kickoff from Memorial Stadium is at 2:30 p.m. The Fighting Illini will try to stop a three-game losing skid. Illinois lost 31-16 at Nebraska in last weekend’s Big Ten opener to fall to 1-and-3 overall. The Boilermakers are 2-and-2.
