The Bombers of Argenta-Oreana had a battle against Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond on Thursday night, as the Bombers prevailed in a three set thriller to earn the win, 25-20, 21-25, 25-23. Both teams competed and had momentum swings throughout the match, as the Bombers threw the first punch taking the first set but ALAH returned fire to even the match going into the decisive third set. Argenta was able to put the match away in the third set to move their record to 12-6 on the year. Madison Eller and Hannah Slemp combined for 22 kills to lead Argenta and Haley Williamson added a team high 26 assists. Argenta-Oreana will return to action Tuesday in a conference match at home against Cerro Gordo-Bement. The loss is the second in a row ALAH and moves them to 6-2 and they play in a tournament tomorrow.
