St. Teresa’s record is a little deceiving in the competition they have played so far this year because of how loaded the first three weeks of their schedule has been and how good of team they really are. They put that on display Thursday night winning convincingly in their Central Illinois Conference opener in straight sets over Central A&M, 25-10, 25-16. It’s the second straight win for the Bulldogs who took control in the match early and carried it throughout its entirety. Senior Lexie Gifford led the St. Teresa offense with four kills and three other players recorded three kills on the night. St. Teresa moves to 6-10 and 1-0 in the CIC and will clash with Meridian on the road for a conference match up Tuesday night.
