(Chicago, IL) — The White Sox rode a seven-run sixth to an 8-1 win over the Indians. Jose Abreu, Todd Frazier and Carlos Sanchez knocked in two runs apiece for Chicago, which has won the first two in the four-game set. Jose Quintana fired eight innings of one-run ball to improve to 12-and-10.

(Washington, DC) — T.J. Rivera’s solo homer in the top of the 10th gave the Mets a 4-3 win over the Nationals. It was the first career homer for Rivera, who finished with three hits and three RBI. The Mets remain a half-game ahead of the Cardinals for the second NL Wild Card spot.
