(St. Louis, MO) — The Blues scored four times in the third period to rally past the Coyotes, 5-2, at the Scottrade Center. Kyle Brodiak [[ brohd-ZEE-ak ]] scored twice in the final period, while Vladimir Tarasenko [[ vla-DIH-meer ta-rah-SEHN-koh ]] netted his 37th goal of the season. Brian Elliott made 25 saves for the Blues, who are tied with Dallas for the top seed in the West with two games left. They skate at Chicago Thursday.

(Anaheim, CA) — Jake Arrieta fired seven scoreless innings as the Cubs clobbered the Angels, 9-0, on Opening Night for both teams. The reigning NL Cy Young winner scattered two hits and a walk while striking out six for the win. Miguel Montero homered and plated three runs in the victory. The Cubs and Angels close out their two-game Interleague series tonight.

(Oakland, CA) — Chris Sale struck out eight over seven strong innings to lead the White Sox to a 4-3 win over the A’s on Opening Night. Sale earned the win and David Robertson the save. Adam Eaton and Jimmy Rollins each plated a run and scored during a four-run third.

(San Diego, CA) — Clayton Kershaw tossed seven innings of one-hit ball as the Dodgers drilled the Padres, 15-0, on Opening Day for both teams. Kershaw struck out seven and walked only one in the victory.

(Phoenix, AZ) — Trevor Story homered twice off Zack Greinke in his MLB debut and the Rockies ripped the Diamondbacks, 10-5. Greinke was shelled for seven runs and nine hits in only four innings in his D’backs debut.

(Undated) — Former Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy claims he’s never hit a woman in his life. In an interview with ESPN, Hardy said he’s never put a hand on any woman. Hardy was convicted of domestic violence in 2014 but the case was later thrown out.
