(Decatur, IL) -- Decatur officials will be strolling through the Home Park and Ravina Park neighborhoods this evening as part of the city council’s second Neighborhood Walk of 2013. Folks are meeting at the corner of Melrose and Summit at 5:30. You can park in the Ben Franklin Elementary’s lot if you’re coming from outside the neighborhood. The other walk starts at Center and Summit, also at 5:30, with parking available at Christ United Methodist Church. Bring plenty of water, because it’s going to be hot. Meantime, walks later this year in Sims Addition and Torrence Park have been pushed back by three weeks. Check the city’s website for the new dates.
