(Hillsboro, IL) -- The man suspected of causing the death of State Trooper Kyle Deatherage is being extradited to Illinois from his native Hinesville, Georgia. Johnny Felton was indicted in Montgomery County Monday on charges of reckless homicide. The 52-year-old was behind the wheel of a speeding big-rig when he crossed the fog line on northbound I-55 and fatally struck the trooper, even though his emergency lights were activated. The Class Two felony carries a maximum penalty of 14 years behind bars. He’ll be formally arraigned once he arrives back in Illinois.
