Radogno To Remain At Forefront Of Illinois GOP

(Springfield, IL) -- Senate Minority Leader Christine Radogno will be staying at her post for another two years. Radogno’s colleagues voted this week to allow the state’s first female GOP leader in the state Senate to remain the party’s figurehead in the chamber. Her supporters were able to turn back a challenge from Kyle McCarter, who expressed interest in the job, arguing that Republicans need a change in leadership.
