(Maroa, IL) -- A 37-year-old Maroa man is facing domestic battery charges for allegedly shooting a woman in the neck with a BB gun. Michael Soeder is said to have shot the 36-year-old victim when she entered his home to pick up a family member for a doctor’s appointment. The woman suffered only minor injuries when Soeder pulled the trigger on his Airsoft gun after she refused to leave when asked. An argument with his wife prior to the woman’s arrival is said to have sparked his aggressive actions.
