(Effingham, IL) -- An Effingham man is facing charges in connection with a house fire last Friday. Twenty-six-year-old Bryan Jones is said to have intentionally set the blaze that ravaged a home in the 700-block of West Fayette Avenue. Four residents were able to escape without injury but three family cats were killed. Initial damage estimates exceed 40-thousand-dollars.
