(Springfield, IL) -- The Central Illinois Food Bank is getting a chance to loosen its belt a bit. The organization is moving from its current location in Springfield to the former Pepsi bottling plant on the east-side of the capital city. The Food Bank’s executive director Pam Molitoris says they really needed the extra space. Pepsi Springfield donated the building and more than 300-thousand-dollars was donated this week by Walmart, Monsanto and other businesses towards the million-dollar cost of retrofitting the building.
