(Atlanta, GA) — Tiger Woods is celebrating his first victory in more than five years. Woods carded a plus-one 71 in Sunday’s final round to win the TOUR Championship in Atlanta. Woods finished at 11-under-par for the tournament, two shots ahead of Billy Horschel. It’s his first victory since the 2013 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and 80th of his PGA Tour career.

(St. Louis, MO) — Miles Mikolas allowed just two hits in seven innings for his 17th win as the Cardinals swept the Giants with a 9-2 win at Busch Stadium. Jose Martinez and Yairo Munoz had two RBI and Matt Carpenter a two-run homer for St. Louis.

(Chicago, IL) — The Cubs racked up three runs in the first inning as they folded the White Sox 6-1 at Guaranteed Rate Field. Kyle Schwarber homered and doubled as the Cubs took the rubber match of the three-game series. Kyle Hendricks pitched into the eighth inning and gave up one run to earn the win. Carlos Rodon got chased in the third and took the loss.

(Philadelphia, PA) — Wendell Smallwood rushed for the go-ahead touchdown with minutes left in the game as the Eagles slipped past the Colts 20-16 in Philadelphia. Andrew Luck threw for 164 yards and a score for the 1-and-2 Colts. Rookie linebacker Darius Leonard finished with 13 tackles and two sacks in defeat.

(Philadelphia, PA) — Colts head coach Frank Reich is clearing up Andrew Luck’s benching for the final play of the game. Reich went with backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett on a Hail Mary to end the game. Reich stated that his decision was based around Brissett’s arm strength and not Andrew Luck’s surgically repaired shoulder. Luck admitted himself after the game that Brissett has a stronger arm than he does and respects Reich’s decision.

(Glendale, AZ) — The Bears turned a 14-0 first quarter deficit into a 16-14 win over the Cardinals in Glendale. Cody Parkey kicked a go-ahead, 43-yard field goal with 4:31 left in the fourth quarter. He had three FGs on the day and Jordan Howard scored from one-yard out for Chicago’s only touchdown. Josh Rosen’s late fourth-quarter interception sealed the victory for the Bears.

(Tampa, FL) — The winless Pittsburgh Steelers seek their first win against the unbeaten Tampa Bay Buccaneers tonight at Raymond James Stadium. Busch beat out Kevin Harvick in the Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway Saturday night to pick up his seventh win of the season. Martin Truex Junior, Chase Elliott and Aric Almirola rounded out the top-five.

(Champaign, IL) — Illinois gave up 42 unanswered points in a 63-24 loss to ninth-ranked Penn State Friday in Champaign. The Illini went ahead 24-21 in the third quarter before the Nittany Lions pulled away. The 2-and-2 Illini have a bye this weekend.
