(Springfield, IL) — Another state of Illinois building has tested positive for the bacteria that causes Legionnaires disease. The Illinois Secretary of State’s office Thursday said that tests from the Stratton Building, which is the office building next to the State Capitol, showed marginal amounts of Legionella. A memo to workers at the Stratton Building says the focus is on the cooling towers at the building. There are no reports of anyone who’s gotten sick with Legionnaires at the building.
