(Milwaukee, WI) — The Cardinals fell behind 4-0 in the fourth inning and never recovered in an 8-3 loss to the Brewers in Milwaukee. Luke Weaver gave up four runs in four frames to fall to 3-and-5 with the loss. Yairo Munoz and Matt Carpenter homered in the fifth for St. Louis, which had won its previous two games.

(Cleveland, OH) — The Indians scored five runs in the fifth inning to rally past the White Sox 9-6 in Cleveland. Chris Volstad faced just one batter and was tagged with the loss for Chicago. Matt Skole hit his first big league homer and Tim Anderson also went deep for the White Sox, who have lost four-of-five.

Davis clubbed a three-run homer in the second inning for Houston, which snapped a two-game skid.
