(Undated) — The Vegas Golden Knights are heading to the Stanley Cup Final. Vegas held off the Jets 2-1 in Winnipeg yesterday to win its Western Conference Final series four-games-to-one. The Golden Knights are the first expansion team since 1968 to make a Stanley Cup Final in its inaugural season. They will face either the Capitals or Lightning. Tampa Bay leads the East Final 3-2 and can advance with a win in Game Six tonight in D.C.

(Baltimore, MD) — Justify is the winner of the 143rd running of the Preakness Stakes. The Kentucky Derby winner won the second leg of the Triple Crown on a wet, muddy, foggy day at Pimlico Race Course on Saturday. Justify can try and complete the Triple Crown with a win in the Belmont Stakes on June 9th. American Pharoah was the last Triple Crown winner in 2015, ending a 37-year drought that dated back to 1978.

(Indianapolis, IN) — For the third time in his career, Ed Carpenter will be the pole-sitter at the Indianapolis 500. Carpenter was the only racer to clear 230-miles-per-hour during qualifying over the weekend. Simon Pagenaud and Will Power will fill out row one. Danica Patrick will start in row three in the final face of her career. The 102nd Indianapolis 500 runs this Sunday.

(Concord, NC) — Kevin Harvick earned a one-million-dollar pay day by winning NASCAR’s All-Star race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday night. The regular season gets back going on Sunday with the Coca-Cola 600. Austin Dillon won the race last year.

(Chicago, IL) — Reynaldo Lopez finally got his first win of the season with the White Sox’s 3-0 shutout of the Rangers at Guaranteed Rate Field. Lopez lowered his ERA to 2.98 when he struck out eight and held Texas to two hits over eight innings. Wellington Castillo hit his sixth homer as Chicago took three-of-four from the Rangers.

(St. Louis, MO) — Jack Flaherty struck out 13 over seven-and-two-thirds innings as the Cardinals beat the Phillies 5-1 at Busch Stadium. Flaherty allowed just two hits and one run to earn his first big league win. Tyler O’Neill went 3-for-4 with his second home run for St. Louis. Greg Garcia drove in two for the Cards.

(St. Louis, MO) — Cardinals reliever Jordan Hicks is lighting up the radar gun in record fashion. He hit 105 miles-per-hour twice in the same at-bat by the Phillies’ Odubel Herrera in the ninth inning. Hicks threw five pitches to Herrera that were all at least 103.7 miles per hour, the five fastest pitches in baseball this year.season.

(Cincinnati, OH) — Yu [[ Yoo ]] Darvish has his first win with the Cubs. He struck out seven over six innings of two-hit, one-run ball as the Cubs beat the Reds 6-1 in Cincinnati. Kyle Schwarber, Javier Baez and Ben Zobrist all homered for Chicago, which took three-of-four. The Cubs host the Indians starting tomorrow.
