According to ESPN, “Bud” met with Atlanta ownership and GM Travis Schlenk on Tuesday, with the group deciding it’s best for everyone to go in a different direction. Budenholzer had two years and over 14-million-dollars left on his contract.

(Boston, MA) — The Bruins are headed to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Jake DeBrusk’s second goal of the game snapped a 4-all tie early in the third period and the Bruins went on to beat the Maple Leafs 7-4 in Game Seven of their first-round series in Boston. Torey Krug [[ Kroog ]] tied the game earlier in the third for Boston. The Bruins will take on top-seeded Tampa Bay in the East semifinals.
