(Decatur, IL) — Medicare has begun sending out new Medicare Cards with new numbers to Medicare beneficiaries. The Senior Center Outreach Counselors will conduct an information session about the new cards and numbers. They will discuss the reason for the new numbers, what the cards look like, and what to do when you receive your new card. They will also discuss ways to protect yourself from possible scams. The session will take place on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Decatur-Macon County Senior Center, 1430 N. 22nd Street, Decatur, IL. This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to stay after the program for a spaghetti lunch from La Gondola for $5 for members and $6 for the public.
