(Decatur, IL) — Parents are getting a better picture of what happened at MacArthur High School earlier this month. School leaders had said a small number of students were involved in altercations after an assembly at the school on February 7th. But yesterday, “The Decatur Herald and Review” said emails show there may have been as many as five fights at the school and that a number of teachers were slightly injured in the melee. The paper says teachers at MacArthur may ask for more answers at tonight’s school board meeting.
