(Davenport, IA) — The snow isn’t expected to stop for a few more hours and will likely bury parts of the northern third of Illinois. The National Weather Service is leaving a winter storm warning in place until this evening for folks from the Quad Cities to Chicago. I-DOT says road crews are trying to keep up with the snow but say people shouldn’t travel unless they have to. Some parts of northern Illinois could see 14 inches of snow.
