(Conway, SC) — A former central Illinois superintendent is looking at criminal charges in South Carolina involving the alleged molestation of a child. Police in Conway, South Carolina, say Kevin Lipke was charged in November with one count of criminal sexual conduct with a minor although investigators say there were multiple incidents. Lipke resigned as superintendent of Pontiac schools in 2014 after just two years on the job. He was placed on leave a few months earlier for unspecified reasons. His teaching license was later suspended by the Illinois State Board of Education because he needed to work on “proper workplace boundaries” and “impulse control.”
