(Tuscaloosa, AL) — National champion Alabama is losing a trio of players to the NFL Draft. Wide receiver Calvin Ridley, defensive tackle Da’Ron Payne and backup running back Bo Scarbrough are all leaving school early to turn pro. Running back Damien Harris won’t be joining them, however. ESPN cites sources confirming Harris has decided to return to the Crimson Tide for another season.

(Undated) — A Major League Baseball agent is out of work after being accused of using a camera to record clients in the shower. CSE Talent says it has fired Jason Wood. According to FanRag Sports, an unidentified player found the camera while using a shower at Wood’s home. The player confronted Wood and fired him on the spot. Wood has also been suspended by the MLB Players’ Association.

(Oakland, CA) — Lou Williams dropped a career-high 50 points in the Clippers’ 125-106 win over the Warriors in Oakland. Williams made eight threes and also dished out seven assists. It was LA’s first 50-point game since Charles Smith in 1990. Kevin Durant scored 40 points in the loss, becoming the second-youngest player to reach 20-thousand career points behind only LeBron James.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Colts’ search for a new head coach continues. Multiple reports state Indy interviewed Baylor head coach Matt Rhule. Rhule guided the Bears to a 1-and-11 record this season. He last coached in the NFL in 2012 as the Giants’ offensive line coach.

(Chicago, IL) — New Bears head coach Matt Nagy is bringing a familiar face back. Chicago is hiring Harry Hiestand to be its offensive line coach. He held the same job with the Bears from 2005-to-2009. He’s been with Notre Dame the past six seasons.

(New York, NY) — The Bulls continued their dominance of the Knicks this season with a 122-119 double-overtime win at Madison Square Garden. Chicago has won all three times they’ve met so far. Lauri Markkanen knocked down eight threes on his way to 33 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Denzel Valentine and Robin Lopez each had 20 points for Chicago, which had lost five-of-six. They host the Pistons on Saturday.

(Chicago, IL) — Ryan Suter scored the deciding goal early in the third period as the Wild skated past the Blackhawks 2-1 at the United Center. Brent Seabrook opened the scoring in the first for the ‘Hawks, who had won their previous two. Anton Forsberg stopped 25 shots in defeat. Chicago hosts the Jets tomorrow night.

(Undated) — The rosters for the 2018 NHL All-Star Game in Tampa are out. The host Lightning lead the way with four members selected to the Atlantic Team, including captain Steven Stamkos. Eleven players from each division make up the four teams that will compete in the 3-on-3 tournament. It will be held at Tampa’s Amalie Arena on January 28th.

(Philadelphia, PA) — Number-one Villanova exerted its Big East dominance on Wednesday night. The Wildcats dominated number-10 Xavier 89-65 at the Wells Fargo Center. Elsewhere around college hoops, number-four Michigan State barely beat Rutgers 76-72 in overtime and number-six Duke dominated Pitt, 87-52.

(Champaign, IL) — Illinois takes another shot at its first Big Ten win tonight against Iowa in Champaign. The Fighting Illini are 10-and-7 overall and 0-and-4 in Big Ten play after losing at Michigan over the weekend. Iowa is 9-and-9 and 0-and-5.
