(Bloomington, IL) — Bloomington Police are asking for help in finding a woman who went missing on Christmas Day. Officers yesterday said they fear 53-year-old Carmon Edwards may be suffering from ‘cognitive decline.’ Edwards’ family last saw her about 11 a.m. on Christmas Day, police say she was likely heading to Pekin or Washington for a family gathering.
Update: According to a phone call from the Mattoon Police Department, at 9:35 a.m., Wednesday, December 27, they have located Carmon D. Edwards car near 21st and Richmond this morning. They believe Edwards is on foot somewhere in Mattoon. MPD is asking you to be on the lookout for Edwards. It has been reported that she may be suffering from ‘cognitive decline’.
