(Decatur, IL) — Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner is once again running for governor on a promise to roll back tax rates. The governor launched his reelection bid with a stop in Decatur yesterday and said that part of his Our Home, Our Fight campaign will be to roll back the 32-percent income tax increase that Illinois lawmakers approved in July. The governor also talked about creating new jobs in the state and holding the line on property taxes in Illinois. He talked about all three issues when he ran for office the first time, in 2014.
