(Cambridge, IL) — A western Illinois teen who police say slashed a puppy’s throat and left it to die will be tried as an adult. A Henry County judge yesterday ruled that 17-year-old Damian Ingram will face animal torture and animal cruelty charges in adult court. Kewanee Police say Ingram slashed the puppy’s throat back in July. The puppy, now named Thor, survived and is being cared for by animal rescuers in Henry County.
